I am thinking that I want a FP2. Anyone have an extra one lying around that might be interested in trading up to a CP2. See my stuff here. I thought it was priced right for barebones kit with servos and extras included.

Thanks
Wynn

Keep your CP2 and buy FP. After you'll master FP you'll need a little more and CP2 is great. On the other hand you can't fly FP outdoor when it is windy. I just came back from flying CP2 in 10mph and I love it. You can't do the same with FP.

Dez, from what I've learnt so far on my Futaba that's a pretty close curve...mine is set 0,25,50,75,100 and it works really well....

Dude, if the CP was your first heli then an FP would be a jump in the right direction albeit a backwards one! the HBFP is a great little heli to learn on, as CP helis are a fair bit more complex than FP.....If I were you,I'd get a barebones fp and use the radio gear from your CP on it. All the bits will bolt straight onto the FP and you'll have a spare servo to boot.Once you get the hang of the FP, the CP will be relatively easy! Setting up throttle and pitch curves is'nt the easiest thing in the world to accomplish when you're new to the hobby but after flying the FP for a whilee you'll get a better idea of what does what and why it does it.I dunno if the stock CP2 Tx'll give you a problem on the FP as I've never used one,but theoritcally it should work just the same although you may need to switch off any collective mixing if it's possible with the stock CP2 tx....

I hate to say it, but it's time to close this thread.

Kind of hurts to do it.

Thanks, enjoy the new thread!
