Anything that has to do with R/C model boating from kits, radios, power packages, hardware, lighting, propellers, accessories, and more can be found at www.mackproductsrc.com. They have been in bussiness for over thirty years that I know of and know what they are talking about.

I usually drive up to M.A.C.K. Products in West Long Branch from my house in northeast Penna. Me and my son both do model boat building, (Scratch and kit) and we have found that HE CERTAINLY KNOWS HIS STUFF and can direct you to the right items. He has to ask what size boat you have, the weight and he can go from there. Going to a magazine and trying to figure it out may cost you grief and and a lost of interest in the model because it is not operating correctly. He also makes some items himself since ha has a small machine shop in the back of his shop. He has also built about 20 boats both from scratch and kits and they are BEAUTIFUL. CHECK HIM OUT.
If you need more info about his address sent me an E-mail at R.R.Farina@att.net.

FAQ - Motor Designations

Mabuchi is the big motor manufacturer. See their web catalog:

http://www.mabuchi-motor.co.jp/en_US...ct/p_0300.html

and in particular:

http://www.mabuchi-motor.co.jp/en_US...ic/t_0302.html
for explanation of motor codes.

Note though that many "found" motors may not be marked, or may carry only the customer's part number, as many applications use customized versions of the standard catalog units.

More fiberglass hulls:

www.microglass.net

They have tugs, PT boats, Coast Guard, etc., mostly in 1/32 scale.

Oh yes, and a S-100 schnellboot hull---.

Here is a link to all things nautical, and then some. This has been a standard item in my bookmarks for a very long time, and is very useful for finding the rare item.

Aptly named, "The Mother of all Maritime Links", you can easily spend hours browsing through the listed subject material.
