If you are looking for nitro models and some ARF electric models then check out Bangkok's leading distributer, manufacture, wholesale, and OEM for ARF Remote Control RC Planes - http://www.hobbyhut.org or e-mail greg@hobbyhut.org - or call thailand 0861650025

These models are manufactured in china and are the best quality models ive seen at very reasonable prices

Earlier in the thread it was mentioned that 40 and 72 mHz was the most "popular" frequency's to use. Can I bring my 35mHz transmitter or?
I'm on my way to Khao Lak in November and was about to bring a small parkflyer.

While at it, is there any hobby shops around that area if I would need spare parts?
Thanks in advance!

Has anything new happened in RC flying around the Phuket area? I'm on my way this year as well. As it's forbidden to bring lipo's on the airplanes these days it would have been nice with a store in Phuket. Are thre any such a stores in there?

flying in thailand

hi to all
im a learner with the planes but did the helicopter 20 or so years ago before giros were on the market,i also used to race electric cars at most tarmac tracks in the uk,i now live permenently in thailand and have just got the bug again,im building planes from scratch from foam and balsa, you can buy a fully built foam winged model here for 1000 baht( about 15 pounds stirling)brushless motor and a esc for the same amount, servos are 150 baht each so as you can see its not to expensive here, ive been building foam pusher jets ,well trying to.....crashed a load and flown a load, just going to try mixing the ailerons and elevator new made jet
anybody coming out here wife hunting, fishing ect ect even flying give me a look up might be of use to you,,,,im living in the northeast at udon thani
