i've always like the lines of the f/a-18, su27 and mig 29. so i drew this.
none of it is to any scale but it looks most like a hornet.

...works. now i know where the cg is. time to make some templates.

COol. It needs the intakes of the Su-27 in it tho. looks a bit empty with no intakes.

i didn't want intakes because i was thinking that this plane is a pusher with no need for an intake.

well you dont need them to be fungtional, just for looks great like this too!! Merry Christmas!!

maiden report: i had too much up elevator and it went up pretty quick at 3/4 throttle. i also had to trim it left. otherwise, it was great to fly and normally i don't do any stunts at maiden but it loops, rolls, immelmann, split s, cuban 8, half cuban,verticals, inverted with no problem. 9 minute flight. very stable. pretty good speed too. good glider too which makes landing very easy.

in case anyone is interested or gets bored or wants to try something new or has extra foam and needs a project...

igo, very nice lines in deed! A lovely blend of some great looking fighters.
would be cool to see a full fuse verion of this one fly.

hi chara, i orignially wanted to build it full fuse but i got lazy.

made a change to the motor. it's now an 11t, 24gage, wye, 5x5x1mm, 12 n40 nsnsns..., 20mm stator. 9oz thrust from thunder power 1320mah 2 cell drawing 9amps. this set up flies faster than previous 3 cell setup. the previous motor had an18mm diameter stator, 12 n50 nsnsns..., 5x5x1.5mm, 13t, 26 gage, wye.

Looks great! Any idea how much wing are you have on this?

hello Uttam, if you count the leading edge root extension and all of the flat area behind it then the wing area is 150 sq inches. if not then about 80 sq in. the cg is about 1.6 inches from the intersection of the wing leading edge and leading edge root extension. if you want pictures i can supply.

i really like your micro brushless motors!!
