I think they sell that at Home Depot. If I remember correctly it's a little heavier than Depron or FFF.

If this is the same stuff, www.foamfly.com has a chart giving the stats.

White Foam-Core with the paper peeled off:
0.6 Oz/SqFt

Georgia Pacific BlueCor with the skin:
0.75 Oz/SqFt

Black Foam-Core with the paper peeled off:
0.8 Oz/SqFt

Amocor Green Foam with the skin:
0.95 Oz/SqFt

Owens Corning Pink, has no skin:
1.0 Oz/SqFt

White SturdyBoard with the Paper on:
2.0 Oz/SqFt

This is what I like about this stuff .I use my heat gun to heat up copper pipe and this way I can bend it to shape the formers.I got ahead of myself here but I had to try it out first, works great!

Thanks Beenie,Plans? well Im trying to keep track of my measurments as I go,so maybe. It would be alot of work, and its got to fly! but if you dont believe it can fly then why even start! The heat gun is just stuck in the end of the pipe.Trust me it gets plenty hot.It has an added bonus, the heat stiffens the foam! sweet.

cdebaca,

The small photo is called your avatar. Sort of your alter ego, or how you would like others to see you.

Here are the steps for creating a photo to post as your avatar.

1. Click on "My RCGroups" in the upper left corner of the screen.

2. Click on "Edit Avatar" on the left side of the next screen.

3. Click the bubble that says "Use Custom Avatar"

4. Click on the "Browse" button and upload a JPEG or GIF file that is a maximum of 75 x 75 Pixels, and no larger than 19.5 Kb, that you want to use as your Avatar.

To create the avatar, you can take any photo you want and use a program like Photoshop, Paint, or PhotoDeluxe and re-size it to 75 x 75 pixels. The photo can be a JPEG, GIF, or animated GIF.

Hopefully, that helps!

Lucien

Oh, by the way, what store did you purchase the green foam at in Vegas? I live near San Diego, and drive to Vegas occasionally. I would like to pick up some of the green foam to try on my next trip up there. Also, do they have any 1/2" or 1" thick foam of this type available?
