Last I heard Clive (airboatflyingship himself) was having major computer problems. Lets hope they are resolved PDQ so we benefit from his vast database again.

I is back!

What a nightmare ...two computers two operating systems both stuffed in different ways both full of stuff................... neither wanting to play. No viruses just messed up operating systems and firewalls that didn't delete but disappeared

I want to include this but I will be checking and updating ASAP..............

Welcome back Clive , we`ve all missed the links. I`ve found a couple of pics of the model of Kenn Heely` s Islander conversion . NORTHSTAR fans, there was a gas-turbine powered one at Loch Insh splash-in this year. Will track down some pics asap.

Yep, the guy on the right with red shirt , sorry I spelt his name wrong. Good guy, he gave me a trip over the Cairngorms and a touch and go on Loch Morlich in his Thurston Teal. Cant recall the model builder on left. Pair of 60s if I remember. Nice model. David Thurston,full-size flying boat designer, was present at model trials.
