Hello thought some people might like to see whats out there for free.
Add a link and a brief description..........more to follow ..come on add some more internal or external links all you Hydrophilic aeromodellers. I will add to this thread as and when I find more sites so LOOK and dont assume its all the same.###########means latest link added.

Free flight flyingboats

Ive steadily developed a growing awareness that the old-timers were very keen on Flying-boat designs so I started a thread over there to show some of these interesting designs ..for inspiration ....adaptation and promoting the cause...I just hope you like triathlons/canoeing if your a purist?

RCM& E mag. Nexus did a free plan for a semi scale/cartoon Dornier Amphibian - Push Pull over-wing engine pod flyingboat called Der Fliedermouse, lovely details retracts etc it flew well landed OK on land and water BUT it had a problem at first.

Scanning E bay I fell on a lead for a S400/480 gearbox that I hadn't found before but Ive passed it on to Ivan his attention . Turns out that Hyperion do a natty stick mounted off set box supplied with several ratios all the way up to 6.0 :1 that are quiet and rated at 300-400W better the price is OK if you find the right retailer.
