HELP! New to RC. Looking for an off-road car or truck

Hey, I am 15 years old, and am kind of new to RC, I have had little electrics before, but they are to slow and they cant go anywhere except the road or a flat surface, no grass. I am wondering if there are any RC cars or trucks that run on regular unleaded gasoline that you would get at a gas station (not nitro or glow plug) or a really fast electric. I am also looking for something that is not too expensive (below 350). I want something fast that can go off-road. I have found one that runs or regular gas (DuraTrax FireHammer) but it is like $1,000. If you know of any rc vehicles like this, let me know their name and where I could buy/ order one online. THANKS!

Sound like your putting the cart before the horse...
your best bet is electronics. Gas powered cars are expensive ($700+) and if you are new to the sport, its best to learn on an electric then upgrade to nitro or gas.

All electrics are really fast once you modify them. Consider a Team Associated buggy comes stock with a 15turn motor..

I have a losi xxx-t that needs the speed control to be sent in. It is an easy fix. Will sell for 75 dollars. Goes up to 50 mph and has a brushless motor
