Hobby Lobby Thanksgiving Sale!
This showed up in my Email....
SALE Items change EVERY hour!
Submit your order before each hour ends!
You will lose the sale price of an item if you do not submit the order before the current Sale hour ends or the Sale item is removed from that hour. DO NOT LEAVE SALE ITEMS IN YOUR SHOPPING CART! This means if you add an item in the 7 AM hour and don't submit your order until 8:30 AM, you will have lost the SALE price of the 7 AM item. Some items have a limited quantity available. Once these have been sold, the item will be removed from the Sale page. If you have not submitted your order for an item that gets removed from the Sale page you will not receive the item at the Sale price.
We will hold all orders to combine them for shipment.
All orders containing Sale items will be held and shipped on Monday, November 28th so that you can take advantage of the various Sale items throughout the day, and only pay ONE shipping charge. We will combine all of your orders into one shipment.
New Sale items will be posted every hour on the hour.
The first group of Sale items will be posted at 7 AM Central Standard Time (CST). A different group of Sale items will be posted every hour after that, ending at 5 PM CST.
Submit your orders early!
Don't wait until the last minute. Sale prices are only in effect for the hour listed and as long as quantities hold out. When the hour is over (or we run out of stock on the Sale item), the sale is over. No backorders.
Sale items are not valid with any other offer or coupon. Be sure to click the REFRESH button on your web browser often to see the current Sale items. You will get a confirmation email each time you submit an order. This is only "confirmation" that we received your order and does not guarantee that you will get the Sale item

Unless HL has upgraded their site software to do real-time stock numbers, just because it took your order DOESN'T mean you purchased it.
Last year during this sale I ordered a Projeti, servos, and ESC, and a not-on-sale motor to complete the package. Each hour as I purchased the different items it confirmed my order for that item with the option to hold all the items until the end of the day to consolidate the packaging to save on shipping.
At the end of the day I got an e-mail that said, "Sorry. Even though you thought you bought, it we were out of stock when you ordered." I was given the opportunity to cancel any or all of the items (I kept two since they were still a good deal) but didn't get what I was all hyped up to build - the Projeti!
This same thing happened to LOTS of other people. There was a very long thread where people like me expressed their displeasure at HL's brand of e-commerce.
