Was that today?
Weather was gorgeous up here in the high desert; flying with the gang out at Calico drylake until the winds picked up at noon....sunny and 75 degrees, just perfect !

Jasta 11 WW1 Colour Scheme on a Me Bf 109 F
I've been inspired by a Fantasy profile I found by Bill of http://www.clavework-graphics.co.uk/...aft_start.html
Agreed it's not what the scale police may like to see, but she sure stands out. For those who may have missed it on the 109 thread. |

I spent some $$ on this, I bought Tamiya spray cans for this job. The model was in MANY pieces during the painting. The most time consuming prep work was masking the canopy. About 2 hours to mask, and cut away the tape for about 10 seconds worth of spray. It was worth it for the nice lines (generally) on the canopy frame. I tried using an airbrush on my customised FMS Zero. It was taking AGES. In the end, I just bit the bullet and got spray cans. To cover large areas, I've found that the spray cans are the best. Note though, I spray over existing paint and decals. Spraying on bare foam can lead to the propellant in the can eating the foam. I test on a foam box normally. Hope the info was useful. Rob |

Paul, additionally, ALL of my decals come from Callie Graphics.
http://callie-graphics.com/ She does a fantastic job, and is low cost. She did the decals for this model, + provided 8 others I needed for 2 other models for $32USD delivered to my door here in Oz. Rob |
