Stewart Little Biplane: this is one of the nify'st little planes I've made to date. I've only make 8 or so FF's but this one is a blast to fly slow with moderate power plant or fast on 3cells and a bigger motor.
Found in post 21 this thread, but not a continuous build thread, spreadout thru Tog's multi year thread. Seems people keep coming back to this one and it gets picked up again. here:http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...highlight=SLB+ Mine uses an Esskay 400XT with 9050DD prop I use a 2C or 3C battery Great on 2C fantastic on 3C One of many great plans that will be posted here |

Have to add the 2 most like "trainer" style ones, the blu-beagle by Gene Bond, and the "trainer one" by gpw...I'd say the build and fly ability would be 1 on both...
trainer one: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=383687 blu-beagle: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=338359 here's an interesting one...using pool noodles: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=432774 the blu51cd by Gene Bond: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=389720 Gene Bond's gymblux2: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=328736 flybike's combat plane, actually a good pusher-trainer: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=391418 and don't forget the original free plans for the hydro craze by prop-er: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...t=hydro+plans+ I was disappointed when I went to view the free plans sticky until I came upon this thread...glad to know it's not all lost, providing it doesn't get bogged up with chit chat. Here's a link to the old thread
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=279249 There were lots of links to plans which were not specificaly for foamies, but could be converted fairly easily. http://www.parmodels.com/Plans/index.htm This site has great looking warbirds to enlarge for e-combat or just fun DPF flying. Some may need to have the tails enlarged slightly for better control. |
