I'm building a fundango now. Its my first plane in a looong time. Its easy to build, probably a weekend if you can devote a whole weekend to it. But try the beginner threads for more info.

I usually get those at the night clubs :0

I think it just means the gear inside of it gets stripped (teeth break off). It will run but wont move anything.

withhin slowflyers it means
a striped servo is one that is modified to less weight.
there are many way to do this:
- let a part of the case away, makes hole in it or sand it thinner
- change normal wires to thin Motorbuilter-CU-Wire

some of the 6g Servos you modify the weight down near the half

PNP stands for "Plug-And-Play", generally for a PNP all you will need to finish the plane is a radio system (Tx,Rx,Crystal) and a battery

here's an example

Mini Ultra Stick PNP

I think a little info on Li-Po vs A123 batteries could be helpful here. I got a cell balancer the other day, and evidently its for A123 batteries didnt know these were different from LiPo's

I would add it, but I still am not too clear on the difference.
