Hi all

had a 5 o clock start this morning to get this flying as I want it painted tonight

flew mine today and its superb
has no bad habits at all
basically well chuffed
unlimited vertical as well on 6x5 GWS props

roll rate is a lot better than I thought and it looks just as expected and sounds wonderful

also a very strong bird too as the theres something growing in our field that stands about 2 ft high and snagged on landing and rolled from wingtip to elevator about 4 times

well happy as you can tell

want to build a bigger one now

You look much younger than I'd imagined, Trev!

Delighted the project was a success - wouldn't like to knock one together for me I suppose

Milky,

Nice job, whats the all up weight and wing span?

Here is a short 400k video of a P38. Anyone know the details?

Try this for size http://www.rc-network.de/magazin/art...4-0040-02.html

There is another "decal" thread somewhere in RCG - I'll have a look around

My "Miss Virginia" decals are somewhere in that decals thread... "Miss Virginia" is the P-38 which shot down Admiral Yamamoto (the mastermind of the attack on Pearl Harbor).

Matt -- it looks like a low-altitude thrust imbalance on that P-38. They're deadly! It's the same thing that happened to the P-38 in my avatar (but it crash-landed better, and the parts were sold to Red Bull).
