Rain ,rain and more rain

I got to do alot of building this weekend ,nearly 2 inches of rain in 2 hours yesterday. I thought I would be shoveling the backyard from the front yard today . I dont think anyone got a chance to fly in the Sydney area yesterday. Still I was happy to be in the workshop working on my 3.0mtr and my new dare I say it chevron wing (It's only the second one Ive had ) .Ive also repaired the Tony and its ready to cover and paint again .So all in all along with a number of amber coloured energy enhances a great Sunday was had even if I didnt get to fly . Come on rain
Break the drought

We had a 7 cell comp on yesterday. Cancelled. Rescheduled to 11 Dec. We do need the rain badly, though. I need to cut about 8 Vectors this week, for orders and sponsorship prizes Got the last 2m TD comp for the year on 13th Nov. Shoalhaven Club. Good prizes and lots of fun.

Should have got stuck into them yesterday Klaus , The rain really gave me a chance to get some building done . Pretty strange when the only chance to build is if the rain starts to fall lol

I heard about that from a guy that I know who lives in Sydney.

But he said it was well needed rain before after the drought.

yep bring it on from Monday to Friday but clear skies and 30 knot winds in the direction of your choosing on the weekends would be nice

Got to do a bit of spring cleaning in the shed and make a start on the Alula which has been sitting on the shelf for 3 months.
I got in a 1/2 hour fly at Long reef this afternoon and maidened Scorpion Mk3 with good results in light winds

Just thought I'd throw in the name of this new Chevron wing I designed and built
I've decided to call it "DOG's BREATH"

Got a couple of pics of Steve's new creation today. I won't post them until he says 'o.k.' In the meantime, here are a couple of pics of today at Otford. (Sunday 6th Nov)

Has Tom put a harness on the pilot in the Fox yet, or is he still head butting the canopy?

Heck, I'd even settle for flying in the rain if the wind would just blow.

I even drenched my wind sock in liquid Viagra and starch and it's still hanging limp.

'Been like this for too long as far as I'm concerned.
