I love the way that the camera moves with the g-forces!

That is a great video Trubo442 !!! The sound of the wind on the mic getting to an insanely high pitch just put that one over the top

What camera and transmitter did you use ? What about your ground setup ? How did you attach it to the plane ? It must have been pretty substantial for it not to get blown off off

Thats funny you guys noticed the camera moving around. I noticed it too mainly since I was concerned it was going to get ripped off the plane! I used double sided tape to mount the digital camcorder to the side of the fuse and top side of the wing. The camera is an Aiptek IS-DV that uses SD cards to record the video. It weighs about 5.5 ozs and is completely solid state. It uses a CMOS type sensor so it does not work well in low light condition. It is cheap though, I paid under $150 for it at target. I have messed around with transmitters and such but this is the way of the future. Much less hassle and no drop outs. Double sided tape is pretty amazing stuff!!! Thanks for the compliments!

I taped a Aiptek 1.3 to a bungee glider (1.8m) and the resulting video showed the camera moving with the G forces there also. Next time I'll face it backwards and get a video of me getting rapidly smaller on take-off. Great fun.
