Yea, I seem to be better this morning. At least I ate better yesterday. I do miss Fla. I'm only up here tohelp my Mom. Hi Mike, Yes I hope Mark has the floats ready soon. I had to sell a bunch of my planes, in the past week. So I'm going to the PO to ship them in a bit. Then I can return the Beaver framing up some today.

The only shellfish I eat, Mike, are fried oysters. They should be avail anytime now, with the water cooled down and thanxgiving approaching.

Hi, CB.. I'm going to finish up the wing mounting and cowling. That will use up all available parts for the frame up. Then I'm going back on the MiG-15, till I can get a set of floats going.

There are certain issues that Mark has to smooth out. I'll be fixing this frame for use this summer off the water.

Too bad -- was hoping this might be available before the summer flying season. Hope the issues are not enough to dump the project?

Hi Mike! Happy New Year! Mark had a bad time with a fire in one warehouse, in Fla. Lost a lot of stock. Not sure if it will be ready. If I have this one completed, by the time you go through here for Maine, I'll loan it to you for a summer flyer. Nothing like a Beaver on floats for a Maine lake. And if you have a mis-hap with it, I'll forgive you.

And a Very Happy New Year to you Steve -- I hope it'll be a real good year for you.
That's a very kind offer -- I have more than enough to fly and should have the Kingfisher ready to go. I won't have time for fishing, and that's not good.
Let's see how things work out this spring.

Hi Guys

I'm shooting for an early to mid March 06' release date. I just need to work on the CAD files for the parts that need adjusting and go from there. The larger 64" Beaver will not be till late 06 in kit form untill then I am just doing them in ARC-ARF's

Steve was just helping me on what fit and what did not fit. Now that I have the marked plans I just need the time to get it finished. I'm still on chemo a few times a week and it takes alot out of you

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Guys,

Had several e mails on the Beaver: The CAD files are being updated at this time on the sm Beaver. Also will have floats avail in 28", 32" & 38" to add to the website about the same time. Still looking at about a March release just keep an eye on the Website

Also creating the cut file for John Hunton's 38" EDF Vampire, and 48" P-3 that we will be handling, both of those designs are proven flying prototypes and have been showing up quite alot in the Va. area. John, Mike Dale, and Don Srull <Flyline Models Fame> make a great design team

Thanks,
Mark

I agree - both the Vampire and the P-3 look great. Wish they were a bit larger though - especially the P-3. At this size/weight, does it really need the AXIs? I would imagine four sp.400s (and even sp.300s) would do the job just fine. My old B-17 weighs 5lbs and the four sp.400s pull it around with plenty of authority. If the Orion is really only 36oz, the AXIs are an overkill (unless you wanna have the world's first hovering Orion).

Mark, any chance you gonna blow them up a bit - say 45" wingspan on the Vampire (which I love otherwise!) and 60-70" on the P-3?
