Yes, I found that site. That site helped me to locate the hard points for the float attachment. I'm going to have to add the extra rear window, also. It seems most have this.

Steve, great project, I love those bush planes!

Here's a pic of a Beaver on amphib floats that is seen flying around here occasionally. Thought you might be interested in seeing the little vertical stab's on the tail that are often used with floats to help the yaw stability. It's kinda hard to tell in the pic , but they attach right at the ends of the horiz stab, just inside the balancers.

The registration is C6-BIQ, so it is from Canada.

Whoooaaaa there my Yankee friend! All Canadian civil aircraft are either C-FXXX or C-GXXX. A quick check in my pubs (the kind with pages and covers) reveals that C6-XXX aircraft are registered in the Bahamas.

yeh Mon... shes from the "islands" Notice the fin and rudder... most of the turbo beavers have squared tail feathers... ( and a longer fuse)... its getting harder to find 100LL in a lot of countries... Jet A and Diesel is the way to go

Gearup, I noticed the curved fin, had not studied the turbo tail feathers on others. The little vertical fins on the horizontal stab would be a nice touch on a model...but I would want to make them of plastic card stock, so they would not break easily.

Sooo many airplanes I would like to model! But I have to find blue foam, and convert the Islander into a Ross, before anything else.

rear window..

this is one of the few Wipaire Turbo (Turbine) conversion.. all the brown gunk you see is LPS#3.. a VERY good corrosion inhibitor...

the last two are for some young guy in up TheyARE in RodEYElend... he had a question a few months ago conserning retracts for his PBY build... hope this jars his memory
