What is this motor (and what can I use it for)?
Hi all
A while ago I bought a CC Lee RTF Hang glider model, as they were on half price offer in my local branch of Maplins (see pic). The only control system consisted of alternating between the two motors to steer the plane. Power output was very good but obviously as the battery drained, so did the effectiveness of the motor control, rendering the model, in effect, uncontrollable towards the end of each flight!
Anyway, I stripped it down for parts and have the two little motors, which put out quite a healthy blast with their 3.5 inch props. They ran off the supplied 6v NiMh battery, with about 5 mins duration. They have a serial number on the side GFK-130511-2952.
I'm wondering what I could use them for. The mini Heinkel 111 thread on here looks like the kind of model they would fit into, but what about indoor flyers, maybe using just one motor? Any ideas or plan recommendations?
