More Castle Creations ESC Issues
Boy, I can seem to escape problems with my Castle Creations ESCs. This time the Pixie-20.
The problem began when I swapped my GWS single conversion Rx with a HiTec 555 dual conversation. Now the Pixie-20 ESC canít see throttle off, and wonít arm. It works fine with the GWS Rx and the 555 was working great in the Razor I pulled it out of. I played with the trim, reversed the throttle, played with the EPA, etc.. nothing works.
I did find the post below in another thread. I wonder if thatís what I need.
ďI fly the Flash 5, 555, and Pegasus and have had receiver swamping problems. If this is the problem, you'll have to install a ferrite bead on the ESC throttle channel lead. Patrick at Castle will send you one for free.Ē
