Albuquerque F5J World Challenge reports?

Anyone got any reports from the event yet? I know it was going down this past weekend (October 14-17, 2005)? If it's still running today (17th) the pilots will not be back home yet but anybody in the area online to give us the scoop on what's going on there?

Be patience, young Jedi. Should be up soon as ASK gets the write up done. I'd say a few words, but the eyes/brain/hand cordination is still awol. But in the mean time, you may fine these mildly amusing.

flyingdogtwo: That bee is out to get you for sure. Either that or he is a huge fan?

Philip: Congratulations. Looks like you had a fair run in both classes?

Waiting for the scores to come in from Bill and Shari. They must have continued onward from the event in that RV of theirs, as they are not answering their phone. As soon as I have the scores I'll make the complete report.

If last year's coverage/report by ASK is any indication, you're in for a treat. He gives very detailed & concise coverage of the comp. Very good reading!!

Scores and Contest Report

Thank you for everyone's patience. Needed the scores, and Bill just got them to me. I think he went out of town--sorry we didn't anticipate that.

Thanks ASK. Pitty about the weather that kinda spoiled things. Glad there was gap to get the winners decided though but it seems like in general mother nature made things tricky for everyone. O well lets hope things can fall into place better next year. Maybe moving the even date to an earlier time in summer might help?

Better Later-Than Never

Wanted to say thanks Kurt (Niagara Frontier Models) for your support of this year's ESWCs through his generous donation of gift certificates for products.
Felt bad I couldn't have put forth a better showing with the Pulsar. But muffing the first two rounds (flying 1st entire round in reflex & the 2nd not getting the motor to start till 1/2 way thru the window) just doesn't give ya much time to catch up when you only get three rounds of flying for the entire comp.
Thanks Again!
