My plea for more space!

Will someone please tell my 'bread knife' that an 8'x6' shed really just isn't big enough!

Buy a smaller clock. That big one on the wall is taking up too much valuable airplane space.

There is nothing hanging from the ceiling!! You still have plenty of room in there. You haven't even alternated direction of the planes/wings yet! The shelves are too far apart, and there is that notorious clock that B pointed out!! Until that space is really full, don't ask for a larger area!!! Lastly, we don't know whats behind you... the room may be biger and you were standing twords the front of it...

A bigger shed will do you no good. The new available space will be filled up before you know it. Then you'll want another bigger shed. It's best to put a stop to this foolishness now.

Yup, it's not big enough.

There ARE more behind you aren't there?!?!?! When they start to over flow out the door I'm sure there are other needy flyers to take some off your hands.

davecee - Amen to that, went there and did that.

Keep 'em hummin'

If you could open the door and walk in you have more than enough room. Build small!

You are going about it all wrong. As long as you pack everything into your little 8x6 cell she will never realize you need more room.

What you need to do is take two or three airplanes out of the shed and put them on the kitchen table. Do this every time you go work in the shed because you need some "elbow room". Apologize profusely for doing it and don't directly mention that a bigger shed would solve the problem.

After you do that a few times she'll realize its all cramped in there.

We bought a new house recently and I insisted that I have a separate workshop. We fought over which house to buy and I finally gave in to her on the one without a workshop, on the condition that I get the whole 2-car garage to convert. We have a carport for the cars and we are going to buy a shed for the garden tools. The garage is mine and I am very protective of my space.

This hobby is very hard to enjoy without a convenient place to work.

Ya Jim you did do a good job on getting all that space. But guys i need some help too. We have a 4 car garage and i cant even get 1/8 of it. I dont even have a little corner, just one table and some planes hanging up. Its sad my brothers four wheeler, dirt bike, and my sisters toys have more room than i do.

Hi guys,

My day solved this problem by building a 20' by 40' stand alone finished room with air conditioning, heating, and bull bathroom.

He hasn't had any space problems since
