Blue Angels Formation Flyer
I was inspired by another gent that built a formation of thunderbirds.
San Diego is a Navy town so the Blue Angels were in order. The gauntlet was thrown down by a friend that doubted that is could be done. I waited until I had video before I posted. http://one.revver.com/watch/105823 http://rcguy.tripod.com |

I've always loved these formation flyer projects. Great job with the F-18's in Blue Angel's paint and the Dymond formation!! I'd like to do one of these with an EDF unit for sound purposes

That is terrific.
I didn't see the landing gear on it the first time, which is even better! Just got the video to load. It's awesome. Is it ROG? Hard to see if it was that or bungee or something else. |

The wheels are only 1" in diameter

accident and repair
On landing the wind reversed and I stalled.
Used all the pieces you see here and cut a new nose for the lead plane. Now it is ready for spackle and paint. The miracle of Depron! |

would love to get exact plans and build this one. What back edition of Backyard Flyer is the construcion article ? In the Web link to article it says page 1 of two and cannot go to page 2. But all in all this is a great idea and videos are excellent. Are the plans in the particular issue ?
Once in a while you see a WOW factor This one is it for sure. |
