Weight of CVS camcorder w/ 2 AA BATTS?
I am considering buying a CVS camcorder. How much does it weight with the 2 AA batteries? How much does it weight without?
I am going to strap the CVS on my slow stick.
Thanks so much.

You don't need AA batteries. AAA's will work fine at about 1oz of weight including the radio shack battery holder for them. Or a $2.50 servo lead does the job too at < 1gram of weight.
Mine is setup with a USB cable, no screen, and a servo lead for power and it comes out to about 1.5oz. total. Then I've got some additional weight from a fabricated mount but that's going to apply to any camera.

Including mount, 41.5g AUW with screen, 33.0g without screen. This is using slowracing's instructions on the main thread:
The camera works great with receiver power and it's worth the weight reduction and simplified operation. Bill of materials: spare USB cable, pair of Dean's, male and female receiver jacks (I used the "switch harness" from a flight pack).
You can operate the camera without a screen without getting confused as it makes operation sounds and a red LED lights up while recording.
