Great Planes Combat P51 Mustang
I recently buy a GP P51 Mustang , not for combat. I prefer speedy airplane, this is why i buy an OS.32 SX engine to put in.
I want to turn a 8x8 or 8x7 APC prop at ± 17500 rpm. Expecting speed over 110Mph.
I will make some minor modifications to the plane:
Reinforce the firewall, reinforce the stab with carbon rod, put a landing gear, and maybe put fiberglass to the wing join.
Now, somebody already have this airplane, any recommendations?

i dont have this airplane but for putting on LG, i would recomend stripping the whole plane of its covering and installing everything you need. i would also opt for robart micro retracts for an extra speed boost.

So you think the robarts are going to be strong enough. I have one of these I am converting to electric (a few have already done it successfully) and am wanting to put retracts in it. The AUW I would estimate to be between 30 and 40 oz.
