O.S. FX 160 mounting in Dave Patrick Super Cub

Can the O.S. FX 160 be mounted in a Dave Patrick Super Cub without cutting the cowl out to accomodate the engine? I plan on using the Bisson muffler.

PA 18 Dave Patrick Super Cub using the O.S 160 FX

I spoke with Dave Patrick the other day. He felt that the O.S. 160 FX would be a good choice for the Super Cub. He used a YS 140 four stroke in his cub. Dave said the YS is taller than the O.S and felt it would fit in the cub without cutting of the cowl! I would rather have to much power than not enough-case in point-throttle back if needed. Dave also indicated that the weight to power ratio is excellent in the O.S. 160 FX.
