Wildcat design and construction pics

Continuing from my "280 sized f4f" thread in parkflyers, I thought I'd start a thread on it in the scale forum, since that's what it is! I'm drawing up plans in two sizes... one 30" for M100 or 280, and one 40" for speed 400. They are both built very very light from balsa. I've only started construction on the smaller of the two, but here's some pics

and here's my "will it really work?" addition... folding wings! I'll use larg-ish rare earth magnets to hold the wings in place when extended

dblum, I'll trade you the secret for a set of your agcat plans!

Actually, they're totally based on how the full scale works. The rib is at about a 45 degree angle to the wing, and I'm using a single pinned 60 sized+ slimer hinge for it. Here's the wing extended, closeup of the hinge
