Help for fast deflation system for tethered captive balloon
I urgently need your help !!!
We bought a Skydoc balloon (http://www.floatograph.com/oilspill/skydoc.html). Those balloon are really useful as they can stay aloft even with high wind speed (up to 90 mph!).
Unfortunatelly, the deflation system they provide us is not acceped by the local authorithies here (Belgium). It is a kind of plug (linked to the ground with a rope) that opens in case of the main rope breaks.
Usually, authorithies here in Belgium ask for a "rip panel" (a piece of material that, once ripped, open a hole in the balloon). The constructor of the balloon (floatograph) told us that the balloon will leak if such a rip panel was mounted on the balloon (ply made of urethane).
Does anyone have information about fast deflation system for captive tethered helium-balloon accepted in Europe ?
Any ideas are welcome !!! It really urgent !!!
Thanks very much in advance for your help,
