Show Us The Coolest Thing You Have Come Across Or Made In The Past Week.

I think this should be a Sticky myself but lets see how well it does first.

Coolest thing i have found latley is the Mugi EVO. It has been out awhile but they have now found a way to send it WORLDWIDE for under 8 dollars U.S.!!
It is all pre cut. All you do is follow instructions on how to "fold" it. www.mugi.co.uk.

Regards
Mal

I saw a guy flying a dual-motor controlled Walmart foam glider this evening. He had a wireless A/V setup that was a bit too heavy for his plane so we taped it to my Switchback and I did a few circuits with the CG about 1" off. So we basically got some really nice 45 degree harrier footage of the clouds.

I guess this doesn't really answer your post topic, oh well I just admire R/C hackers. I haven't been in the hobby long enough to get into the hacking phase.

I thought the Mugi was made out of depron originally. It's been a long time sisnce I visited their site and the Evo is new. Took me awhile to work out that twinwall was that plastic sign material that spads are made of. Nice looking plane, might have to build one soon.

The Twinwall they are using is thinner than what you can get at your local Harware store. I am sure you could make that stuff work though

Aw man, you know how those fanatics are, if I show a picture of it tomorrow evening I'll have 100 Taliban camped out in my yard holding a candlelight vigil.

Actually that's the cockpit view form the carrier aircraft, the White Knight. SS1's N-number is 328KF (upper right hand dash.)

http://www.scaled.com/projects/tiero...flight_general

Note: WK and SS1 both have identical cockpit layouts. This was intentional so that the SS1 descent profile could be flown and tested before actually building and flying SS1. Also for ommonality in parts, etc.
