Electron 6 RX w/ JR TX questions

I lost my "where to plug the servos for dummies book"

Plane: Mini Blade w/flaps one rudder servo
RX: Electron 6
TX: xp8103

So, where do i plug the Flap and rudder servos in to the receiver( that comes with no instructions)?. What basic settings do i need to input on the TX just to get it to work right? don't need advanced stuff just want the surfaces to move the right direction on the correct stick. I've only dealt with planes with two control surfaces so far, so i'm a little lost. Thanks

2. AIL1 Left Aileron Channel
3. ELEV Elevator Channel
4. RUDD Rudder Channel

6. FLAP Auxiliary 1 Channel (Left Flap Channel for Dual Flaps)
7. AUX 2 Auxiliary 2 Channel (Right Flap Channel for Dual Flaps)
8. AUX 3 Auxiliary 3 Channel

The Rx instructions won't help you; you need the TX instructions. Unless you can get your Tx to use ch6 for "flaps", forget about using the Electron 6...

But if you're mistakenly calling full span ailerons the "flaps", then I think it would be ch 1 and 5 or 6 for the ailerons, and channel 2 for the v-tail.

Please describe what your are trying to do better, and I will see if I can find the manual for your radio online....

Here's the manual. After reading the other posts, sounds to me like you'll have to use a "y" servo connector, with a reverser on one leg, and hook into channel 6...

I think you need this for channel 6, but you will only be able to get the flaps to go up and down together, not opposite like the ailerons. For that you will need 7 channels, I guess. That is why I like my EVO 9 radio, I can assign ANY function to ANY channel. I have a six servo plane that I'm flying with an electron 6....

The TX destructions say where to plug stuff into an 8 channel RX. I need to know where to plug servos into an electron 6

A Blade w/ Flaps has 4 control surfaces on the wing, in case you didn't know.

i think i gave plenty of info.I'm trying to figure out where to plug the servo plugs into the receiver that many people use in this very same plane. Thanks for the help

Sorry. You sounded kinda Newbie-ish by the one rudder servo description....
Good luck with the build/maiden
I think you'll either have to use the "Y" with reverser, of go to a 7 or more channel Rx...
OR maybe there is a different "mode" for the Tx your using, where you can get your ailerons on 2 and 5, then slave channel 4 to channel 6, and have the flaps there, if you follow that?

I use the electron 6 with my JR 9303
dont know if its the same with the 8103 but here is mine, use your TX manual if your not sure, they also have manuals online.

1-LA
2-RA
3-Elev
4-Rudder (or power if you dont need the rudder)
5-RF
6-LF

I use all 6 servos, so in that case I just tap into one of the servo lines.

I feel that you are off to a good start, then. Possibly ahead of the average sloper!

Gotta go.
Please post what the end solution is that you choose.

Thanks,
Target

PS. Hindsight is 20/20.... Don't beat yourself up over the purchases you've made. Both items are sound sloping tools.

Single elevator servo v-tail, not rudder. With one servo for the tail, I'm more interested in going up and down, than left and right.

Don't mind me, Roy, I mean well. I'm just a little bit(tiny) of a smart A$$....
