Below are my two running boats, both built from ThorDesign kits. I'm also currently building a 1/32 scale Disney Nautilus and producing 1/48 scale Type XXI kits.

Warm regards,

Paul

XXI project, well half of it

heres a type XXI I have been working on, mostly the upper limber holes, still a long way to go. So many subs so little time..... This boat is in 1/50th scale, similar in size to the hull that Doug Badgley made. This is actually a RMSS hull. Now out of buss. Will have more photos of this boat as it progress's. Jeff Jones

Here's a snap shot of my CAD file of the sub I am in the process of designing.

I intend to carve this out from foam and follow the same contruction method that Steve has shown in is his type XVII build thread. It's given me a whole new avenue of construction to look at.

I like that, Dan.

Looks inspired by the work of streamline designer- Norman Bel Geddes.

Paul,

Very nice work. I'll look forward to some pictures of your XXI. Nice size for that boat.

Harry. Here may be your chance! A big XXI.

I must say Jeepers. You crack me up! You have seen Horrible Harry's Type 7 right? Near 100 lbs of hell. Not finished yet but you'll get the idea.

......

thanks Harry, I have been into subs almost 13 years now, If I can just stay off this freakin horrible computer I could get another one running. Hey Steve, that is a non-running second hand 32nd P type XXIII, I took out the original guts and want to go with a Dave Manley WTC for it. Dan, that is a really neat hi-tech way to design a sub. Wish I knew how to use those tools to do that, I am still basically a di it like a "Cave Man" kind of guy.... thanks Jeff Jones
