Thanks Jim. That's good.

Steve

P.S. If there's enough interest lets see it here. She won't be cheap but special items like this are usually the case.

Delta next. 571 on top of that. Then the Seaview. Perhaps a IXC or XXVI?

Merriman? Where the hell are you? Oh working in the shop! Sorry. Comment when you can.

Steve,

You do the hull, I'll do the appendages and pump-jets... Ha! already done, sucker! Just as Wayne stated. You get serious on this project I'll send the documents to the size needed (1/96 scale). Screw the commercial market, just a project among us elite's. My WTC-3 mod 2 just fits. And I've improved PJ efficiency since I built the initial set. And this thing is the ideal torpedo shooter.

David,

Dang it (pc answer)!! There is going to be a lot of glass in my garage. I just gotta figure out a way to retire!
I have more than I should working and waiting , but a Seaview.... Steve, David has a pretty trick vhs about the Seaview you should get your hands on. Flying sub is sweet also.
I passed on a FS hull about a year or so ago. Kinda regret it.
Should I just go ahead and grab the cool hulls as they come out?
The toy department is getting pretty cool this year. Hah!!
Not quite the innovation Mr Merrimen screams for, but proof we are not dead!!
Ok, pull down the priate patch, get the parrot, and back to the garage. Or was that Russia for me?

Wayne,

Slow down we aren't going to expire tomorrow. Get me those drawings for the Delta. In the mean time I'll finish the 17 and get started on the 571. By the time Chris and I get far enough along with the 571 you'll have dug up the imfo on the Delta. Once that get's going we can look at the Seaview.

Sound good? Now build what you have and get them wet and working because you'll need the bench clear to build on.

Regret it? You should kick yourself! LMAO!

David, do you think a big one like the movie prop you had at one time would make a good r/c sub? If your going to go big, don't piss around. Right Harry?

Well. that could be done. But a new Beamer would cost about the same. If you take my meaning.

Gantu, if I'm not mistaken, "571" would refer to USS Nautilus (SSN-571).

I thought I would go ahead and post a reply to this question to get my feet wet with these boards. I've really enjoyed monitoring the goings on here. Kinda like hanging out in everyone's virtual garage.

Steve, the Type XVII has been especially amazing to watch. Outstanding job and a great tutorial on scratchbuilding technique.

And, Dave, I've got the white metal masters figured out for the XXI. Just need to finish them up. If you'd like a list of reasons why they aren't in your hands yet I can forward one -- I know how you love excuses!

Warm regards,

Paul

Paul,

I've been camped out by the mail-box waiting (yeah, right). When they get here, they get here.
