Some Basic knowledge for the Beginner of Li-poly
Capacity: Capacity is important, but not all. For RC, discharge rate is more important sometimes. Make sure that the battery is design for RC. Who is the biggest Li-poly manufacturer in the world? It's Sony, but its product is not design for RC.
Discharge rate: It's very important, but not the higher the better. I suggest that fit is more important. For example, a helicopter needs 20A, you have two choice, A pack 2000mAh for 10C and A pack 2000mAh for 20C, which do you choose? The first one I suggest, it's much more cheaper but can be performance as well as the second one most of the time.
consistency: If you have been an advance Li-poly user, and want to match the cell into pack yourself, you should know the importance of consistency for a pack. Don't match cell that are not the same brand, the same capacity, the same model, and the same used condition together! I suggest that get the pack from the professional manufacturer.
Charge: If you want to charge a pack in series, use a balance charge, it can bring better perfromance and better cycle life for the pack.
