Buying new charger. Ice or Triton

I am going to buy a new charger in a day or two. I have compared the Triton and ICE and don't see much difference. Can anyone recomend one over the other? I am currently charging both NiMH and LiPos.

Thanks in advance.

Love my Triton, never had the ice, but if I were buying today I would likely get this...

or this if you need NiCad/NiMh

I have the ICE and love it. It is sooo flexible and easy to use. The battery temperature probe for the Triton fits it, basically the same charger guts but better.

Took me about an hour to figure it out, didn't want to take any chances melting packs or burning the house.

I use a ICE. It is a smarter charger than the Triton, with more features too. The only bad thing about it compared to the Triton is that the Triton can charge more NiMh/NiCd cells.

Sounds to me like the ICE is a better, newer charger. Plus they cost the same.

Ice vs Triton

I went through the same thought process, read all I could and settled on the Ice a couple weeks ago.

Could not be happier. This is one great charger.

Ice good for up to 10 cells. 8 amps max current.
Triton if you want to charge more cells.
I've owned both, sold the Triton.

I would have to agree, I have them both and if concerned about higher amps then get the ice, if concerned about higher voltage then get the triton. If they both would cover you then I would get the ice for sure.
