1/12th scale Fokker Dr.1 and Sparrow II Free Flight and 1/14th scale Albatros DII

A 1/12th scale Fokker Dr.1 and a Supermarine Sparrow II for Free Flight, both for GWS IPS power have been added to our workshop and are now available for ordering.

Edi Werner has been building the 1/14th scale Albatros DII for IPS power. He has made great progress. We have included a photo of the build on it's web page.

Sign me up for the Sparrow - the building board is empty right now ( a rare event).

I'm finding the description of the Dr.1 a bit confusing.

"Power 10 Oz best flying weight. 99% of all wood needed is in the kit
Weight 2 pounds"

I get that 99% of the wood is included, but the rest??? Surely, the finshed weight is not 2 pounds!!??

Has anyone built one of these yet? I'm having real trouble "seeing" it balanced with only an IPS and li-poly up front.

EDIT: Ok shipping weight is 2 lbs. Finished weight 10 oz.??...that's better.

It was a typo in the page and I have changed it. Thanks for pointing it out.

It is expected that the model will balance with lead in the nose.
The 10 oz. finshed weight is an estimate.
Models in the workshop are in various states. Some are right off the drawing board, others are nearly ready for release. The new models are right off the drawing board. This is the case for the little Dr.1
