Speed 280 Ball Bearing Soldering

I have a question about soldering wires to my speed 280 BB motor. On the back there are two loose copper wires. What do I do with these? Also, is it ok to get solder on the posts that are near the terminals? These posts have a spring around them. Those of you who know what the back of a 280BB looks like should know what I am talking about. HELP!!! Thanks.

Nick

P.S. If any of you have a picture you could post that shows me that would be great too.

Soldering on the can

Nice piture Jurgen! I zoomed in and adjusted the brightness/contrast so I could see the soldering on the can. Your soldering is a lot tidier than I've been able to get on these cans. What wattage of soldiering iron do you use?

I attached the image in case anyone else wanted to see it too:

I have no use for the soldering guns to big, with the pen type you can sit it on the bench and use two hands to solder wires together would be ok for doing packs with a big tip.I have a new gun someplace that has never been used.

So you solder the loose copper wires to the ESC leads and in turn solder both to the motor terminals? Am I getting this right!? I couldn't quite tell from the pic.

Thanks

ESC wired, copper wires and capacitors, all soldered to the terminals of the motor. A bit tricky, but with the right tools - no problem. Jürgen
