Bluplex Something old made new! and Blu!

This I feel is my first real contribution to this hobby so please bear with me.

To start off with, this is something I found that was once a plane designed for control line flying. Published in the 1950's (by Aero Modeller) and designed by Peter Holland ( I want to give credit where credit is due).

Any guesses on what it was?

Robert

Here is a better pic of the fuse.

The wing also.

Is this a real oddity? I admit I thought it unusual enough that it would stand out in a crowd which is why I chose this plane.

Here is some more.

i obviously is supposed to look like the second picture, because otherwise theres no reason to have that slot on the fin. HA!, I'm a great detective! actually, it might be a high wing delta, but you didn't show that as an option, so more likely than not it's the one from the second pic.

No, it's definitely the one from the second pic, if the wing is the other way around then the frot poke out over the nose.

The second pic looks suspect, the slot on the wing is most likely to mount the fus under the delta wing, with the aft vert stabilizer in the back middle of the longest edge of the delta wing, with the fus under the wing, it will be a bit more stable.

In reality it goes both ways. It's a duplex! The original name for this unique design was called the Duplex Delta Which is why I am going to call this conversion the Bluplex Delta!

controls will be elevons along the trailing edge of the lower wing. "course it could be split as such:
elevator on bottom wing
ailerons on trailing edges of the top wing.

more pics.(BTW the breeze outside was not helping so the alignment is a bit off)
