The current bird

Im flying at the moment a Cyclone, AKA Thunderbird II
I learned to hover good in about 6 days, as im a new pilot.
my experiance until the moment is that the whole flying helis is just perfect balance and dedication as in the bird has to be perfect trim + balance as posible.
The other thing is that I find it very hard to set up my bird sometimes due to probably the lack of quality, well the price can talk by it self i know!
the Cyclone it has a good thing that it takes a lot of hits and still flying just put the rotor head in place again 90 deegres to the fly bar check the rest and you are on the air again.
I hope to improve with the Honeybee 2 CP2 and share my proggres
until then

Hi pipeaus, im all new to helicopters, and because of the good availability in Denmark ive decided to try out the Honey Bee for my first heli. But im afraid almost a month may pass before I actually order the little birdie due to my financial position right now =P But i look forward to posting my own experiences and pics if possible when I start. Until then ill keep a close eye on your thread, I wish you the best of luck with your new heli!

Hey all! I too am waiting for my CP2 and looking forward to flying. I owned a hummingbird V3 and had to sell because I had no time to fly but I missed the heli so I made the purchase. I will post anything I learn that may be helpful to everyone that will help anyone else. Hey pipeaus, in another thread you said you had purchased a tail upgrade. Can you elaborate on what it is.

I just ordered a Honeybee CP2 also. I have an Aerohawk but I wanted to try Collective Pitch and be able to fly outdoors.
