Anybody know where I can dig up the programming instructions for a Tower Pro 20 Amp Mag 8 ESC? I've done a light search on the net and can only come up with instructions for the 18 AMP and a few others. Not sure if they are the same.

My prefered ESC is the Super Simple or Suppo 30 or 40 amp ESCs. Same programming instructioins and they are simple and straight forward. All future ESCs I buy will be those, but I had this one laying around to use. I also seem to remember Alex doing some tests on ESC efficiency and he found the Suppo (Super Simple is the same thing) ESCs were among the highest in efficeincy, so all the more reason to use them. I hate having a folder full of instructions for the various ESCs I've bought in the past. Most of those are for Tower Pros and they kept switching instructions even among the exact same model. Never again will I buy those.

Thanks for the link. The number of beeps still don't match up. This thing does 1 5 times, 2 5 times, all the way up to 5 5 times. If I select the brake function it doesn't match things either with the number of beeps. I will never buy a Tower Pro ESC ever again. Even the same model can have different programming functions from one month to the next. Super Simple/Suppo ESCs for now on as they have the same programming.

I managed to turn the brake on some how but I still don't know if it's set for a 3 cell lipo or not. I might have to drain an 8AA pack down running it to see where LVC kicks in.

RC Groups Open Search Plugin

I created a RCGroups Open Search plugin (should work with all modern browsers). This plugin uses a google search as I've found it generates better results.

Just go to this page and click on the phrase 'RC Groups' in the results.

Enjoy!
