Jimmy...

Let's shoot for next Sunday... I'm going to a jazz fest at The Hollywood Bowl this Sunday.. (plus it's short notice for some)

Any takers?

(of course we have to check to see if the track is free even for a little while)

the site says every other Sunday is On-road... but which Sundays... 1st and 3rd... or 2nd and 4th?... it doesn't say

There is an on road club race on the 28th. Normally we race every 2nd and 4th Sunday. If bikes come out and want to race I'm sure Bruce will put them into the race program. We can also set up bike only practice time too.

We race on the 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month. If you just want to come to practice you can practice on Saturdays till 3:30PM or the 1st & 3rd Sunday. When you guys figure out when, let me know via this thread and I will set it up.

Bruce

Well first and third sounds ok.. I can wait until the first Sunday in September... that'll give the guys who aren't so local time to get here..

If I end up not being busy THIS Sunday.. I might pop out there... doubt it... but you never know...

Too bad I work Saturdays.. that would have been ideal (practice til 3pm)

Hey Bruce, talk to the 1/5 scale guys to see if they wouldn't mind letting have a demo race so they can see the bikes. Either before or after their racing. A customer at the shop suggested this to me and I thought it would be worth while. Maybe even get a couple of them interested in getting a bike.

Believe me, I know the 5th scalers well, if bikes come out on a club race day we will be glad to share the track during practice, qualifying, and mains.

Perhaps us 5th scalers remember what it's like being treated poorly by smaller scale nitro drivers. Strangely enough, at most on road club races at S.V. the 1/5 scalers are prevalent.
