What is your all time favorite RTF?

Just looking for some expert opinions. What do you think are the best RTF's out there in terms of value, performance, durability, etc.

Some of us just want to fly. While I can totally understand the joy of building your own plane, there is something to be said for just getting the thing up in the air and not thinking about your weeks of labor as the plane splatters on the ground.

PZ P51D. It looks great, flies great, sounds great (especially if you power down and float past...the windmilling prop sounds like a supercharger ) and above all, it comes with ALL the batteries.

Truly a RTF!

ParkZone J-3 Cub.

Easy... Not to slow, not to fast... Easy to hand launch.

For me, most important - Cheap to repair / easy to upgrade.

I'm with a lot of others. The PZ P-51 is my current favorite.

Just a different perspective -- I did not like the Parkzone P-51. It was underpowered, and needed full throttle just to keep it in the air.

I have not flown the Stryker, but it looks great.

The only RTF I've actually owned is the Aerobird Challenger. I purchased it new for $130 (and that price was without tax and included an extra 7-cell battery). That's a lot of bang for your buck!

I find it interesting that 90% of the responses are for Parkzone / Hobbyzone RTFs! That really says something about the company! Now... Where's Rat to crash this party?

It's gotta be the Easystar or Stryker for me. I had great success with both right out of the box, probably have 200 flights on each, even though I've totally rebuilt the Stryker a piece at a time. No problems what so ever with the easystar.

A conspicious lack of Megatech offerings so far...

Keep the opinions coming!

A few years ago a friend gave me a 3ch TX from Megatech. I dug it out 2 days ago and was going to put it in the "give away" section of the forums but after reading up on Megatech I very quietly put it back into seclusion...lest I be ridiculed and heckled.

The only RTF's I've flown are my Parkzone Stryker and Multiplex Space Scooter, and I love them both. Perhaps the Stryker a little bit more though.
