I didn't see a post on this fly in, so here goes.

This fly in is usually at one field on Sat, and another field on Sun. There is no mention of this for this years fly in. I'm going to Email Randy Covington to be sure both days are at the same field this year.
Landing fee $5 per day. Door prizes each day. Concessions, camp but no hookups.

I was at the Spring fly-in with Paul and Heli-Tom .. i had a Ball .. also won a Tribute from the door prizes .. a great bunch of guys up there and always friendly .. be sure to try the hotdogs and famous Chili sauce ..

I wont be able to make it this time .. I have a Flying Buddy coming in from Michigan for a week or so ..

Carl its North of WinstonSalem .. almost in the mountains .. its close to 2-2&1/2 hours away ..

Weather forecast looks to good for Sat.
I understand Carl. My dad had both knee's replaced the other year, then had to have one of the new knee's replaced! The bottom part of the socket separated from the post drove in the bone... or something like that.

It was great yesterday. Decided not to go today (Mom's Birthday). That and I was the 3rd to last person to leave, @ 8:30-9. (Ask David Hogue why it was so late

) I took my digital camera, but didn't take any pic's.... Seems when I'm having a great time at a fly in I forget that I brought the camera!? I got a lot of flying in. 22 flights that I can remember for sure. For a total of 3hours 13min's of flying! I'll try to post the breakdown. The weather here at home is great this morn, so I'm sure it's just as good there. Wish I could be there, but... say 1hr 45min drive each way, still worn out from yesterday..... (and all cut up... right David?
