Hangar 9 1/4 scale Super Cub discontinued?

Looking for a 1/4 scale Super Cub kit with not much success sofar, have always admired the Hangar 9 Super Cub, but is this kit discontinued?

Can't seem to find it on the Hangar 9 website, or retailers websites.

Anybody know where to get one, or any suggestions for other 1/4 scale Super Cub kits? All suggestions or hints are welcome!

/best regards - Mike in Sweden

I've already got a 82" TT Cub, but I think it's to small.....

A quarter scale Super Cub with flaps would be nice!
Those low, slooow passes with extended flaps, and also landing at walking pace...

Yep, DP's super cub is awesome. Of course, it takes a bigger piggy bank as well.

Hej, Mike,

I would recommend DPM also. Btw going to electrifly that?

I flew this year my 14ft/53 lbs electric Super Cub at Barkarky Sweden competition, it was great trip over there!

Mvh,
Hannu

There is a H9 Super Cub on RCU for sale. Not sure if the person would ship that far however. There is one in the fuel plane for sale forum here on Ezone as well. There is a few around. There was two on RCU, I now have one of the two. I have seen one on Ebay as well. They are around, you just have to keep a eye out for them.

I believe Balsa USA also makes a 1/4 scale kit as well as the 1/3 scale.

Electric Mike I have heard of a company that is still making the Super Cub. I have found their website, but I do not know anything about them.

As far as I can tell it looks to be the same plane. I did notice the advertised price to be a little expensive compared to prices here in the US.

I have also found a shop in the US that seems to have it in stock. I have bought from him before and I was happy with how I was treated.

Electric Mike,

Sorry, I was wrong about the Balsa USA 1/4 scale Super Cub, all they have is the 1/3 scale, and it's pretty spendy. Sure looks like a nice kit though. Here's a link to it: http://www.balsausa.com/kits/kit.htp?id=17&shopperid=

The Dave Patrick Super Cub ARF also looks very nice and very scale, but it too is pretty expensive. Here is a link: http://www.davepatrickmodels.com/frame.htm

I think either of these are quite a bit more scale than the Hanger 9.

There is another H9 Super Cub on RCU. Reasonably priced. In Wisconsin if I recall correctly. If anyone is interested.
