Those are the only two flights you're going to get. Trimming it out and then trimming the grass . Honestly, I would love to get a picture of them flying slow and low together on the hunt. It'll look very cool.

don,
nice avatar!!

on the bench tonight.
slow stick repair. i'm build new tail feathers. so far i've got the rud profile done. soaked two strips of 1/16 balsa and laminated them together while rapping them around a pattern then nuked them for 35 seconds. now i have to figure out the locations of the supporting spars.

if your thinking i'm back....uh, nope. i'm still building because it's my favorite part of this hobby and it's still relaxing.
i won't fly any R/C though. atleast not until all my planes are in perfect working order.

If I never flew 'till all my planes were in working order, I'd only fly once a year ...............

I always seem to have something to fix. Or 'improve'.

Crashed my P 51 on 1st flight this afternoon, Not sure maybe it was too windy, maybe my CG was off, maybe I was just too tired to be flying as I worked over night but either way it came down hard, the wing came off and I'm not really pleased. It's going into my attic to keep me from sacrificing it to the gods of fire on my driveway.

They're all doomed to it, when it happens is the only variable. Sorry about the Stang. You did the right thing by putting it out of sight for a while. She'll be back.
