Any Foam Sea Planes Out There?
After reading about all the squirrelly take offs, lack of power issue due to added weight (using stock motors) and position/alignment problems when adding floats to a parkflyer sized plane (in the 10-25 oz range) I'm wondering if there are any inexpensive Sea Plane/Flying Boat type foam planes on the market that I haven't come across yet?
I would think that a pusher prop type setup (similar to the Hobbico Aerobird), or a smaller foam version of the Aventura might be a good. I'd bet if GWS put something like this out it would be a good seller! Bill |

GWS E-Starter Float Plane
Bill,
What is your definition of inexpensive? I have the GWS E-Starter with stock geared S400 motor flying on a Kokam 3S1P 1500mAh pack and it works just fine on the stock GWS floats. Stelio |

Thanks guys. I guess I wasn't very specific in my first thread. I should have said foam Flying Boat instead of Sea Plane. But the Pelican is not bad but I was hoping for something made out of preformed parts similar to what GWS offers and something preferably with ailerons.

Hobby Lobby has a couple that fit your description, but they are quite expensive (over $200).
