Fuel tank location for 1/5th scale?
I am getting a finish built 1/5th scale Fieseler Storch with about a 92" wingpsan. it has a 2 stroke in it now which will be changed for a 91 or 120 4 stroke Saito maybe......as to installing a fiule, tank, why do so many say install it as far forward as possible? As long as the plan ebalances level at the c/g, why not install the fuel tank at the cg so regardless of fuel elvel, balance/trim remains the same?
I don't get why it should be mounted as far forwards as possible. |
