This setup works great :)
I maidened my corsair last night with the EPS-400C D gear, EP9050HD prop, and 3 cell GWS 1300 Lipo.
WOW was that thing faster than I thought it would be. I did about 2 5 minute flights on the battery at about 3/4 throttle and the battery never even got warm at all. It looked so nice in the air and flew very well even though it was a bit tail heavy. I thought the CofG was at 55mm but with my fat fingers it might have been closer to 60mm. I'm going to move it forward either way. Great Times. I posted a video of the maiden in my gallery. The video is not so good due to it being from my digital camera but you can get an idea on the speed. Thing climbs great and is very responsive. I love it. ![]() Thanks for the tips Mr. Lin and what a fun plane to fly and build! |

Well, I got me a 400 D and thought about where to put it bearing in mind it's 50% heavier than the 350. Seemed a pity to weigh down the Zero or the Corsair. Now which warbird needs weight up front?
Right - my ex-350B and now 400D Spitfire is at scramble readiness - tomorrow may see the maiden. I don't have a 9050HD so its got an APC 9075 thin electric. |

You may try EP9050HD for 3 cells, or other similar size prop near 9050.

As I mention in the beginning how to match the system and props, You may try EP9050HD for 3 cells, or other similar size prop near 9050. 9075 is a little too much heavy in this application. Overload will make you feel the performance like soft, yet battery energy lost quicker. Unless, the above set up is too hot for you, you may try 2 cells with EP1060HD.
