Let's play fantasy island

Saw this thread in the thermal column....Thanks aeajr....

OK, let's play pretend, shall we? ( I had a lot of fun writing this)

You scratch off that lottery card, that quick pick game or whatever, and you win big, but not too big.

You pay the taxes on the prize, pay some bills, you buy some gifts and determine that you want to treat yourself to some new RC equipment.

No banking for the future. You got to spend it now. The budget is $5K and no one is unhappy that you are going to spend it.

What's it going to be?

Without a doubt....

Buy the land that has some awesome slopes, build a road that goes to the top with restroom facilities and vending machines, with a full sprinkler system, and someone who mowes the grass that entirelly coveres the hill with a 100x100 foot l.z with nothing but long grass

Ahhhh...that would be the life

Where you gonna buy that kinda land with $5,000 ($5k)?? Iraq? Thanks, I'll Pass!

If I had $5,000 just for the heck of it, who knows. I'd pay down my student loans, most likely

Hey Alex--- 5K is NOT a fantasy! Now start with 5 Million-- now we're talking!! Buy the slope-- build the road-- build the clubhouse with full building facilities--hire TFLG to build all your PSS stuff-- Mclaine for Extreme's-- install running hot and cold waitress's-- relax and fly!! Now it's a fantasy!!

I'm trying to ease him into perspective!!! hohohoho!! He has an F3F plane worth about $1200.00!!

Man you guys are killing me.. a little perspective when I was Alex's age I thought five grand was a huge sum of money... Heck Bill L spends that much a year on Metamucil and man-diapers... lolololol

PS- Alex maybe you ought to edit it and make it 50 LARGE!
