Quick question. I saw a video of a catapult for the stryker. How would you make it?

I love motorcycles too. I have a CX 500 and now I have a NightHawk 450 that I am working on 1986 with only 6000 miles!

Tips,

Sounds nice Tips, thats Low Low miles!!
I also have a 1982 Kaw 750LTD. It has 36K miles on her. It is the 1st Aisan crusier style to come to the states. It is becoming a collectors item. When I got the Valkyrie my wife suggested I sell it. "Sorry dear, it's not for sale."

I know this is a Stryker thread, but nice bikes! I've got a 1980 Honda CB650 with only 12,000 miles on it. Can't wait for spring, I love riding it.

2nd day Out......

Decided to put on the 6 X 5.5 apc prop and Try it today.......All I can say is WOW......What a difference...very fast but Battery got a Bit to hot i think...I think maybe a 6X4 would be better for all around and will try one next...I think I am going to go with smaller fins like CTD said for faster roll rates...mine are more like axial rolls right now probably because I am running a small amount of deflection being nose heavy........Anyway I am having a Blast with this thing and plan on flying most of the day tomorrow...

By the way BOBO Glad all went well looking forward to your report and vids...wish i had a video camera...maybe I will try our Digital camera w/30 sec video like CTD said

i couldn't see the pix of your bike on my crapy computer at work and i had a dinner to go to last night after work. I just got an eyeball on your sweet bike tonight, WOW. i like the pipes and the cool ape hangers.

I thought you might like the 6X5.5. It really moves out with that prop. Wing Tips turned me on to the 6X5.5. My battery don't run too hot with it. What battery were you running? I'm running a 2100 TP 3 cell Pro Lite, it comes out warm but not too warm. If i recall you are running a 2815/2000 Himax, correct?

Could someone help me with a question, I am setting up a BL with an Align 400LF 2500kv motor, CC 35amp esc, 3s 2100 20c polyquest lipo and my 30 days on motocalc ran out. Could you tell me the best prop and amps/thrust this setup would give me? Also if anyone could give me a clue how they have or would mount this motor would be sweet. Thanks Mayday

Mayday!Mayday!

Cool name. Look at the link for some of my Stryker mods. A 6X4 might be ok but to be safe you could thy a 5X3 or 5X4. i don't have motocalc access. I run a 3000KV motor on mine and with the 5X3 I'm at 22 AMPs and about 214 watts. The 6X4 pulls too many AMPs on the 3000KV motor, so it might be too much on the 2500KV set up as well. Sorry I can't be more help. If you follow the link I have many pictures of my Stryker. Theres some close up shots of my motor mount too. I use the factory mount with wire ties.
