Rich, maybe we have the timing on our controllers different? I haven't had any heat probs with the 4120's (I do try to get max air flow possible to all components including air deflectors). I had a BIG brain fart yesterday. In a hurry to fly I forgot to hook up the aileron servo's. I usually check cont surface travel just before take off, but I didn't this time for some reason.... When it lifted off the ground it rolled to the left, I cut power and it landed on it's back. Only damage was the rudder CA hinges pulled out. I was able to tell that the 14x4W did not have as much thrust on take off as the 14x7E. The 14x4W broke on "landing", so I may try a 15x4W just for the heck of it.

Hi Billy:

It would be interesting to compare our settings on the Phoenix 60 controller. I'm using the usb programmer which makes it easy to check out. Later this evening I'll pull the plane into the house and connect it to the computer and see what my settings are.

Rich

I didn't get a chance to check my speed control settings, hopefully this evening. In the mean time rcgroups is now allowing larger pictures. So heres a few pics of my plane.
