Great Planes 40 size stick kit

I just picked up a 40 size stick kit last weekend, and plan on electrifying it. I know I'll have to lighten it quite a bit, I'll cut some lightening holes in the fuse and wing ribs. 2 questions, is 21st Century Microlite film strong/sturdy enough?
Want to get an Axi, 2826, or 4120. Want good to above average performance, don't care about 3-D.

David

ps I only gave $50 for the kit!

Go with the 4120. I've been using one in an old 40 size Long John with great results.
